Rewiring the colo took a little longer than I expected, so we were down for about two hours. Things look okay now. I’m going to go find a dark corner some where and curl up for as long as I can.
We’ll be rearranging the colo facility today, so we may be down a few minutes here and there while things get unplugged and plugged back in. Should be done by 6 PM Arizona time.
Spam detection on vis.nu was kind of crap over the last week or so. I haven’t had a chance to really look at it until now, and it turned out to be a dead MySQL table for the bayesian data. I repaired the table and everything seems hunky dory now.
It looks like there was a mudslide and backhoe issue somewhere in california, causing a bunch of intermittent stuff in the Sprint network. One of the links into the colo facility is Sprint, so you might have some issues connecting to vis.nu right now. It’s intermittent, so if you’re okay right now, you might have some problems later anyway.
